Profits with the social network
The digital world is constantly evolving, and the social network Twitter, now renamed X, is no exception.
With the implementation of a new revenue-sharing scheme with content creators, the platform promises to revolutionize the way users interact and profit from their content.
The new era of monetization on the network
From now on, users who meet the criteria set by the company can activate the partnership with the social network and start receiving a portion of the revenue generated by promoted ads.
This is a bold and innovative strategy aimed at rewarding those who bring value and engagement to the platform.
How does it work?
Promoted tweets are the source of revenue in this new scheme. These ads, which appear below user replies or threads, generate revenue based on the number of views or clicks.
The more engagement an ad receives, the higher the revenue generated for the company, and a percentage of that value is passed on to the profile responsible for the view.
Criteria to participate in monetization
To qualify and start earning from ads displayed in their tweets, the user needs to:
- Be a subscriber to Twitter Blue or be a verified organization on the platform.
- Have accumulated at least 15 million impressions on posts in the last 3 months.
- Have at least 500 followers.
Additionally, it’s essential to have an account with the Stripe tool, responsible for processing payments.
Once the registration is complete, the user must access the “Monetization” tab in the Twitter side menu and follow the instructions to activate the partnership.
And Brazil in Twitter monetization?
Although the revenue-sharing program is available in 115 countries, including several Latin American nations, Brazil has not yet been included in the list.
The reason for this exclusion remains uncertain, and the company has not commented on Brazil’s absence and other locations from the program.
